three ceremonial mounds.

A lovely historic site that is on the National Register of Historic
Places. Visitors can tour the grounds.
House on Ellicott
Hill
Deemed the architectural gem of Natchez, it occupies the site where
in 1797 Major Andre Ellicott, on orders from George Washington,
defied Spanish authority and raised the American flag for the first
time in the Lower Mississippi Valley.

Historical Park
This park contains three important sites for history buffs: Fort
Rosalie, the William Johnson House and the Melrose estate.
Old South Winery
This winery produces 12 table wines and offers tours and tastings.
The Rosalie
Located at the corner of Canal and Orleans Street, this home is a
National Historic Landmark. Daily tours are available along with a
gift shop. Rosalie has a Federal Style of architecture and is an
antebellum mansion. Owned and operated by the Mississippi State
Society Daughters of the American Revolution, it is located on a

Horse-drawn carriage tours are offered through the heart of the
Natchez Historic District featuring antebellum mansions & Victorian
townhouses, over 30 antique shops, and the historic Natchez City
Cemetery.
City Trolley
With ten stops throughout downtown Natchez, the City Trolley will
deliver you to the doorstep of downtown attractions. Trolley hours
are 9am - 4pm Sunday and 9am - 5pm Monday - Saturday.

Club -
This course, located on a bluff, features rolling terrain and
scenic canyon vistas. The wide, undulating fairways and large,
receptive greens have garnered rave reviews from local golfers.

Club -
This course's terrain varies in undulation, so be prepared for a
variety of lies. In addition, many of the trees lining the
fairways can alter your shots, and water hazards come into play
on a couple holes.

This course was built on rolling terrain and features tree-lined
fairways. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the
course design. In addition, water hazards come into play on a
few holes.
Natchez Trace National
Scenic Trail
There is currently 63 miles of the Natchez Trace National Scenic
Trail open for use in four areas along the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Walking tours
At only 14 square miles, walking tours are immensely popular,
interesting and meaningful. Bicycle rentals and bike tours from
Natchez Bicycle Center make the trek especially enjoyable.
